Car, other items stolen from house

A 2009 black Cadillac was reported stolen at 7:39 p.m. Wednesday at 3004 Lake Chapeau Drive. Televisions, jewelry and other items were also reported stolen. The thefts reportedly took place sometime in the last eight to 10 days.

 

Thefts by fraud reported

A theft by fraud was reported a 7:22 a.m. Tuesday at 2313 Doral Ave.

A credit card number was reported stolen and used in Albert Lea at 11:19 a.m. Tuesday at 905 Gene Ave.

Unauthorized charges of $177.72 were reported placed on someone’s credit card at 11:57 a.m. Tuesday at 2302 Margaretha Ave. The incident reportedly occurred Monday.

Credit card fraud was reported at 2:05 p.m. Wednesday at 1201 Southview Lane.

 

Theft attempted

Someone was reported as having used bolt cutters to try to get into the gas pumps at United Postal Service at 7:57 a.m. Thursday at 707 E. Twelfth St.

 

Mailbox struck by truck

A mailbox was reported knocked down by a truck at 8:43 a.m. Tuesday at 2352 Hendrickson Road.

 

Wallet stolen

A wallet was reported stolen at 8:08 p.m. Tuesday at 2751 E. Main St.

 

1 arrested for violation

Albert Lea police arrested Lwa Ma Pi, 29, on an order for protection violation and driving after revocation at 12:56 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of East Main Street and St. Thomas Avenue.

 

House damaged

A house was reported damaged at 10:28 a.m. Wednesday at 422 E. Fourth St.
