Scams reported

A scam call involving someone claiming they were with the IRS was reported at 1:24 p.m. Friday at 727 W. Front St.

Information was received of a possible computer scam at 11:25 a.m. Saturday at 74469 245th St. Phone calls were reportedly received about computer repair services.

Identity theft reported

Someone else was reported as having used an Albert Lea woman’s identification at 1:54 p.m. Friday at 1440 Academy Ave.

An unauthorized use of a VISA card was reported at 2:29 p.m. Friday at 716 Alcove St.

 

Multiple items reported stolen

A Playstation 4 and television were reported stolen at 11:43 a.m. Saturday at 506 Water St.

Property was reported missing from a vehicle since early January at 2:34 p.m. Friday at 403 E. Third St.

A miter saw was reported stolen from a job site at 11:38 a.m. Sunday at 1325 Eastgate Road. The item was reportedly recovered and the suspect trespassed.

 

3 arrested on warrants

Police arrested Israel Godoy, 26, on a local warrant for false information, driving after revocation and speeding at 4:44 a.m. Monday at Freeborn County Law Enforcement Center.

Police arrested Marissa Lopez Lazaro, 25, on a local warrant for providing false information to a peace officer at 4:44 a.m. Monday at Freeborn County Law Enforcement Center.

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Amy Sue Olson on a local warrant for domestic assault at 8:56 p.m. Sunday at Freeborn County Law Enforcement Center.

 

1 arrested for drunk driving

Deputies arrested Jon Derek Johnson, 25, for third-degree driving while intoxicated at 2:39 a.m. Friday at the intersection of Freeborn County Road Road 35 and 715th Avenue.

 

1 cited for disorderly conduct

Albert Lea police cited Alan Orv Weaver, 46, for disorderly conduct, misdemeanor criminal damage to property and misdemeanor false information at 5:51 p.m. Saturday at 408 Fountain St.

 

Break-ins reported

A garage was reported broken into and items missing at 4:14 p.m. Thursday at 71706 Freeborn County Road 46.

A television was reported missing and a bedroom window broken at 2:16 a.m. Sunday at 29290 835th Ave., outside Hollandale. Tracks were reported outside a window and front door. A homeowner was reportedly away from the residence.
