First Lutheran Church of Albert Lea will present the Carthage Women’s Ensemble in concert at 7 p.m. Feb. 18. Under the direction of Peter Dennee, the group of 50 to 60 women sing music from all genres of choral music for female voices. Membership is by audition only. The women’s ensemble performs on and off-campus at Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The group tours regionally, nationally and internationally. According to a press release, the choir received an invitation to sing at the North Central Division American Choral Directors Association Conference. No tickets are required for the event. Donations will be accepted.
