Theft by fraud reported

Theft by fraud was reported at 2:45 p.m. Thursday at 217 S. Newton Ave. The alleged victim was advised to call Woodbury Police Department.

 

1 arrested for driving after suspension

Albert Lea police arrested Kenneth James Savoy, 27, for driving after suspension at 8:28 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of East Fourth Street and James Avenue. Fraudulent plates on his vehicle were reportedly seized and his vehicle impounded.

 

1 arrested on warrant

Police arrested Theresa Mae Book, 30, on local warrants for gross misdemeanor no proof of insurance, misdemeanor driving after revocation, petty misdemeanor speeding, misdemeanor criminal damage to property and misdemeanor careless driving at 4:16 a.m. today at Freeborn County Law Enforcement Center.

 

Sign spray-painted

A sign was reported spray-painted at 11:47 a.m. Thursday at 205 S.E. Second St. in Clarks Grove.

 

Scam reported

A fraudulent check was reported in the mail at 1:28 p.m. Thursday at 300 N. Central Ave. in Hollandale. No money was reported lost.

 

Juvenile walks into person’s house

A juvenile male reportedly entered another person’s house at 8:39 p.m. Thursday at 412 Railroad Ave. The juvenile was reportedly transported to the emergency room for an evaluation.
