1 arrested for trespassing
Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Janiffer Lyne Suchanek, 32, for trespassing at 5:02 a.m. Saturday at 203 N. Central Ave. in Geneva. Suchanek was arrested after the family in the house reportedly pushed her out the door. She had reportedly laid knives out on the kitchen table.
She was held on an apprehension and detention order.
1 arrested for drunken driving
Deputies arrested Sarah Jo Whitefeather, 40, for third-degree driving while intoxicated at 3:08 a.m. Friday at 203 N. Central Ave. in Geneva.
2 arrested on probation violation
Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Joshua Richard Kelly, 22, on an apprehension and detention order at 12:29 a.m. today at the intersection of U.S. Highway 69 and 160th Street.
Albert Lea police arrested Adam John Flategraff, 23, on a probation violation and a warrant at 1:58 a.m. Sunday at 134 W. William St.
3 cited for marijuana violations
Deputies cited Madelynn Violet Emmerich, 21, and Joshua James Downey, 20, for possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at a traffic stop at 2:44 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of southbound Interstate 35 and Interstate 90. Downey was warned for speeding.
Police cited Victor Ramos Lara, 20, for possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, driving after revocation and having no insurance at 12:19 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of East 10th Street and Margaretha Avenue. The vehicle was towed.
1 cited for underage drinking
Albert Lea police cited a juvenile for underage drinking at 9:45 a.m. Friday at Albert Lea High School.
Gas theft reported
A gas theft of $37.29 was reported at 3:45 a.m. today at SuperAmerica. The vehicle used was reportedly a van with a male driver.
Items reported stolen
Narcotics and cash were reported stolen from a hotel room at 8:40 p.m. Friday at The Heritage Hotel.
A trailer, mini bike and other items were reported stolen at 10:07 a.m. Friday at 13383 690th Ave. outside Emmons.
Police cited Mikki Marie Hughes, 27, of Mason City, for misdemeanor theft of shoes at 5:52 p.m. Sunday at 2526 Bridge Ave. Hughes was trespassed.
Damage reported in county jail
Damage was reported done at 8:52 a.m. Friday in the Freeborn County jail. A security door was reportedly damaged.
Theft by fraud reported
Fraudulent charges were reported pending on an account at 9:41 a.m. Friday at 801 19th St. in Albert Lea.
Fraud in the amount of more than $2,200 was reported at 10:13 a.m. Friday at 311 Johnson St.
Someone was reportedly scammed out of more than $1,500 for a dog at 9:10 a.m. Sunday at 333 E. Second St.
Attempted burglary reported
A woman reportedly attempted to break into a residence by using a back door at 9:05 p.m. Friday at 406 Frank Hall Drive.
Assault reported
A woman reportedly punched another woman in the face at 1:11 a.m. Saturday at 134 W. William St. An ambulance was reportedly requested. No charges have been filed.
Cars broken into; items taken
A car was reported broken into at 12:51 p.m. Saturday at 2810 Troy Road.
A car was reported broken into at 5:21 p.m. Saturday at 1206 St. Joseph Ave. The incident reportedly occurred Friday night or early Saturday. Subwoofers and an amp with an estimated value of $600 were stolen, and wires were reportedly cut.
A passenger side window was reported busted out of a vehicle at 3:12 a.m. today at 2410 Y.H. Hanson Ave. Damage was estimated at $250.
