Albert Lea Public Library hosts speaker

The Albert Lea Public Library hosted the Minnesota Historical Society at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the City Council Chambers. The topic was the history of baseball in Minnesota. There was an audience of around 40 people. Due to a donation from the Minnesota Twins, everyone left with a knitted Twins hat and a schedule for the new season. There was also a drawing for a pair of Saint Paul Saints tickets that were donated by the Saints. - Provided
