Salem Lutheran Church announces the Holy Week and Easter services for this year.

Sunday is Palm/Passion Sunday, celebrating both Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem and moving toward the passion story of Christ. There are two services for Maundy Thursday at 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. There is a lunch following the morning service. Call the church office at 373-2184 for reservations. Holy Communion will be served at both services.

The Good Friday service, at 7 p.m., will focus on the seven last words of Christ with short meditations and the Salem choir participating. Easter Sunday will have one service at 9 a.m. with Holy Communion and the Salem choir participating. The Rev. Meagan McLaughin will lead all services at Salem this week. All are invited to join for these Holy Week and Easter services. The address is 115 N. Washington Ave. The church is a handicapped-accessible building.
