Skimmers found on pumps
Credit card skimmers were reported found on gas pumps at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday at 1820 Margaretha Ave.
Skimmers were reported on gas pumps at 3:37 p.m. Wednesday at 21113 810th Ave., outside Hayward.
Theft by fraud reported
Someone reported not receiving a gun after making a $1,900 purchase at 8:24 a.m. Wednesday at 515 Triangle Drive.
An unauthorized charge in the amount of $1,195 was reported at 12:12 p.m. Wednesday at 505 E. Main St.
TV stolen
A television was reported stolen at 5:05 p.m. Wednesday at 19359 810th Ave., outside Hayward.
3 arrested on warrants
Albert Lea police arrested Chad Allen Hoyt, 43, on a warrant at 1:55 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Bridge Avenue and Johnson Street. Hoyt was also arrested for fifth-degree drug possession and fleeing on foot.
Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested William Edward Scheler, 23, on a warrant at 1:41 p.m. Wednesday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.
Deputies arrested Justin Paul Lee, 27, on a warrant at 11:43 p.m. Wednesday at 117 E. Front St. in Hayward.
Lock damaged
Damage to a lock on a door was reported at 8:41 a.m. Wednesday at 137 E. William St.
1 arrested on violation
Deputies arrested David Anthony Roe, 27, on an apprehension and detention order at 2:20 p.m. Wednesday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.
House broken into, items taken
A house was reported broken into and items taken at 5:48 p.m. Wednesday at 82979 Minnesota Highway 251 near Hollandale. The alleged victim reported that the two suspects in connection with the incident were known to her, and said she thought items were taken to be used for narcotics, according to Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Tim Bennett. The case is under investigation.
