A spaghetti fundraiser is planned for Mona Wacholz from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Eagles Club in Albert Lea. A bake sale, raffle and silent auction will also take place at the fundraiser.

According to a press release, Wacholz was diagnosed with Stage 3 rectal cancer in September. She had surgery Feb. 4, which will be followed by six months of chemotherapy.

Donations can also be sent to Wells Federal Bank in Albert Lea or Wells. Anyone interested in donating items to the silent auction or bake sale can contact Rita or Brian Amunson at 373-2609.
