The Albert Lea Noon Kiwanis would like to thank all the people who attended, volunteered and donated to our pancake breakfast on March 20 to raise funds for the future splash pad.

We had 425 people join us for Denny Brue’s famous pancakes. The members, along with some of their family and help from the Aktion Club, helped with serving.

We would like to thank Hy-Vee, Kwik Trip, Market Place Foods, Mrs. Gerry’s, 4-Seasons, Jens Print, Albert Lea Tribune, Celebrations, First Lutheran Church, American Legion and of course Denny Brue for the donations.

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world, one child and one community at a time.

With your help we are on our way to having the splash pad for everyone to enjoy.

Our next fundraising event will be Saturday, May 21, with a paddle, pedal and run triathlon with the proceeds going to the splash pad.
