Theft by fraud reported

A scam was reported at 1:26 p.m. Wednesday at 905 Maplehill Drive.

A credit card was reported used at Love’s Truck Stop four times for a total of about $60 at 1:57 p.m. Thursday at 2751 E. Main St.

Theft by fraud was reported at 6:06 p.m. Thursday  at 304 W. College St.

 

2 arrested on violations

Albert Lea police arrested Mitchell Magavin Stevens, 29, on an apprehension and detention order at 4:22 p.m. Wednesday at Freeborn County Law Enforcement Center.

Police arrested Adam John Flategraff, 23, on an apprehension and detention order at 9:21 p.m. Thursday at 1425 Spartan Ave.

 

2 arrested
on warrants

Police arrested Thor Wayne Hanson, 22, on a warrant at 4:36 p.m. Wednesday at Freeborn County Law Enforcement Center.

Police arrested Montique Rinaldo Bickham Jr., 20, on a Department of Corrections warrant at 1:36 p.m. Thursday at 920 W. Front St.

 

Fuel caps stolen

Fuel caps on three new Peterbuilts and batteries were reported stolen at 4:41 a.m. today at 820 Happy Trails Lane.

 

Injury traffic crash reported

An Austin resident was injured Wednesday afternoon after a car crashed into a power box outside Oakland.

A 2013 Chevy Equinox was traveling south on Freeborn County Road 34 when it left the roadway, entered a ditch and struck a pole owned by Freeborn-Mower Electric Cooperative.

Susan Marie Cook from rural Austin was transported by private means to Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Austin with injuries deemed not-life threatening.

The crash was reported at 4:54 p.m. at 23929 885th Ave. Damage to the pole was estimated at approximately $1,000.
