KIMT-TV recently announced its new weekday anchor will be Katie Huinker. Huinker joined the KIMT News team in 2013. She started as a multi-media journalist and was promoted to co-anchor/producer of KIMT News 3 Daybreak. Jaime Copley has announced Huinker would change her hours once again; this time to evenings.

“We are excited to have her energy and enthusiasm at the anchor desk,” Copley said. “Katie is passionate about bringing the news to those in north Iowa and southern Minnesota. She will be a great addition to an already strong team.”
