Area high school seniors run local radio station for a night

Power 96 had its 14th annual senior night event this month. Each night, graduating seniors from area high schools — including Albert Lea, Lake Mills, Alden-Conger, Northwood-Kensett, NRHEG, United South Central and Glenville-Emmons — get to run Power 96 Radio for an evening. There was also a night featuring local senior citizens talking about what school was like back when they went to high school. Power 96 thanked all participating graduates, Vern Eide Chevrolet for providing a texting/impaired simulator, Erbert & Gerbert’s for complimentary food and Krieger Beverage for complimentary non-alcoholic sparkling ice beverages.
