ST. PAUL — A Minneapolis man accused of slipping into the state Capitol with a knife and leaving threatening messages in the House Chamber is facing criminal charges.
A complaint says the man entered the Capitol through a closed construction zone Tuesday night and posted messages referencing murder, religion and a war against his family. Authorities said a knife was stuck in the clerk’s podium which pinned threatening handwritten notes, including a restraining order that had been filed against him.
