Plaza Morena Restaurant will be celebrating its 10th anniversary Aug. 10.

Not only do they have the most authentic Mexican fare, they are the kindest people I have ever had the pleasure to met. Their service is impeccable.

They do so many nice things for people in their restaurant, their church and their lives. I know, I benefitted by their kindness. I will always be grateful for the kindness they showed me.

I believe they are a strong force in keeping Northbridge Mall alive. The traffic they have in that restaurant brings Albert Lea residents to the mall to shop and eat instead of going to another city to shop. I also know the surrounding area towns come to Albert Lea to eat and shop.

A few months ago, I moved to another state. I truly miss the Plaza restaurant and the people there. About every three months I travel to Albert Lea, just to stop at the Plaza for friendly people and food. These people should be celebrated.
