Items stolen

Fishing poles and all lures from a tackle box were reported stolen at 12:07 p.m. Friday at 1113 Virginia Place.

An ink cartridge was reported stolen at 6:03 a.m. Saturday at 706 Pillsbury Ave.

A checkbook was reported stolen at 12:21 p.m. Saturday at 919 E. Hawthorne St. The incident allegedly occurred Friday night.

 

Items damaged

Multiple items were reported broken at 1:47 a.m. Sunday at 643 Marshall St. The house was reportedly found trashed when the alleged victim came home.

A back window of a blue Saturn Ion was reported broken out at 3:47 p.m. Sunday at 201 Lee Place. The rear window was reportedly completely shattered but intact in its frame. Damage was estimated at $200.

 

Thefts by fraud reported

Theft by fraud was reported at 1:53 p.m. Friday at 1609 Margaretha Ave. The alleged victim said someone posing as being with the IRS had scammed her out of $450 and wanted more.

Possible financial card fraud was reported at 2:22 p.m. Friday in Austin.

A computer scam was reported at 5:11 p.m. Friday at 1811 Michael Place.

Theft by fraud was reported at 12:38 p.m. Saturday at 2611 Bridge Ave.

 

Money missing

One hundred and forty dollars was reported missing at 4:23 p.m. Friday at 75405 240th St., outside Albert Lea.

 

3 arrested for violations

Albert Lea police arrested Michelle Marie Cline, 37, on an apprehension and detention order at 4:28 p.m. Friday at 404 Fountain St.

Police arrested Albert Sidney Allen Jr., 46, on an harassment restraining order violation at 5:38 p.m. Friday at 1002 Bridge Ave.

Police arrested Jemmaine Adams, 44, on an order for protection violation at 7:58 p.m. Friday at 810 Troy Road.

 

3 arrested on warrants

Police arrested Roy Lee Kisner, 29, on an Anoka County warrant at 11:14 p.m. Friday at the intersection of East Seventh Street and Frank Avenue.

One person was arrested on a warrant at 1:01 a.m. Saturday at 404 Fountain St.

Police arrested Cindy Valencia, 31, on a Department of Corrections warrant at 11:43 p.m. Saturday at 305 E. Third St.

 

2 cited for theft at Walmart

Police cited and trespassed Faithful Ruth Hill, 27, for theft at 12:35 p.m. Saturday at Walmart.

A juvenile female was cited for theft at 5:31 p.m. Saturday at Walmart.

 

1 arrested for domestic assault

Police arrested Lindsey Schaefer, 19, for domestic assault at 3:52 a.m. Sunday in Albert Lea.

 

1 arrested for drug violations

Police cited Rene Lee Ponce Jr., 29, for possessing drug paraphernalia, driving after revocation and expired registration at 1:47 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Lakeview Boulevard and Edgewater Park.

 

Computer crime reported

Someone reportedly hacked into a bank account and stole money at 1:17 p.m. Monday at 80739 110th St., outside Glenville.

 

Semi truck fire reported

A semi truck fire was reported at 3:46 p.m. Monday on Interstate 35, near exit 5, south of Albert Lea. Minnesota State Patrol reportedly showed up on scene.

 

Multiple items reported stolen

A theft was reported at 10:37 a.m. at 1918 Bimelich Lane.

A license plate was reported stolen from a vehicle at 12:51 p.m. Monday at 301 Rezin Ave. The vehicle was reportedly broken into Sunday night.

A shoplifter was reported as having depackaged and stole 17 Ibuprofen tablets on June 3 at 201 W. Main St. The incident was reported at 3:17 p.m. Monday. No citation was issued. A report was planned to be sent to the city attorney.

 

1 held for disorderly conduct

Albert Lea police held Timothy Dennis Crowder for disorderly conduct at 4:20 p.m. Monday at 719 Marshall St.

 

1 arrested on warrants

Police arrested Kathlein Elizabeth Abraham on two warrants at 6:45 p.m. Monday at 2751 E. Main St. Abraham was also cited for theft and held for bail.
