Kernel Nation to visit Albert Lea

Kernel Nation will come to Albert Lea from 3 to 6:30 p.m. June 30 at Edgewater Park.
Kernel Nation strives to build a community of people that support corn farming and corn farmers.
According to a press release, the public is invited to attend the free family fun and activities. Attendees will have the opportunity to climb in the cab of a real tractor and other farm equipment from Titan Machinery and Arnold’s Implement, hear the Twin Cities Road Crew as they rock out to the latest hits, see the 45 -foot -long interactive biofuels exhibit trailer packed with videos and information and get questions about food, farming and homegrown ethanol fuel answered by real farmers.
Later in the evening, the public can stop by and see Minnesota pork and Minnesota beef for fun activities. Face painting, games, prizes, music, food and more will be there take place from 3 to 6:30 p.m. The night will conclude with free admission to the Bayside Ski Show at 7 p.m.
