A bunch of local runners took part in the Alden Morin Lake Days Fun Run that was held on June 18, that was sponsored by Mayo Clinic Health System.

Jonathan Lein of Albert Lea won the 10K race with a time of 40:38, and Jose Ambriz, also of Albert Lea took Second: place with a time of 47:37.

In the female division, Albert Lea’s Kelli Sanderson won with a time of 49:52, and there was a tie for Second: place between Alden’s Melissa Wasmoen and Michelle Hintz of Conger. Both runners finished with a time of 54:27.
