Thanks to police for finding car

A big thanks to the Albert Lea Police Department and all law enforcement for doing a great job in their line of work.
Father’s Day was unbelievable — a nightmare for my family and I. Our two daughters came home for Father’s Day weekend. One drives a Honda and the other drives a Civic. The daughter that drives the Honda went to use her car Sunday morning. No car! Thieves had stolen it. Unbelievable! Then our other daughter went to get something out of her car and found they had tried to steal her car, too, as there was a key broken off in the door lock. The one stolen was parked in our driveway and the other was parked in the street.
Both cars were locked — so even if your car is locked, they can still steal it.
Policeman Harves was at our home and did the report at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, and at 2 a.m. Monday, she was notified they found her car. Four people were in it, and they were driving on I-94 in the Cities.
A big thanks again to Albert Lea police. Father’s Day was great after all.
