1 arrested for DWI

Albert Lea police arrested Jeremy Michael Dolci for driving while intoxicated on a traffic stop at 5:44 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Southeast Broadway Avenue and Margaretha Avenue. Dolci was charged with third-degree driving while intoxicated, open bottle and no proof of insurance and  was reportedly transported to detox.

 

Suspected child abuse reported

A report of suspected child abuse was reported made at 9:06 a.m. Thursday in Albert Lea.

 

Marijuana, pipe confiscated, 1 cited

Marijuana and a pipe were reported confiscated and submitted to evidence for destruction on a traffic stop at 12:14 a.m. Friday at the intersection of Euclid Avenue and Mill Street. Police cited Heriberto Lezama Hernandez for driving after revocation and no proof of insurance.

 

Theft by fraud reported

A fake check was reported at 3:44 p.m. Thursday at 701 S. Broadway Ave.

Counterfeit checks were reported at 6:07 p.m. Thursday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.

 

Property damaged

Someone was reported as having went off the road, taken out a mailbox, ran over some electrical guide wires and left some car parts behind at 6:40 a.m. Thursday at 17486 U.S. Highway 65.

 

Cigarettes stolen

An employee theft of cigarettes was reported at 9:32 a.m. Thursday at 23087 Minnesota Highway 13.
