1 brought to jail on violation

Katherine Marie Laack, 36, was reported as having been brought to jail on an apprehension and detention order at 10:37 a.m. Friday at 408 Fountain St.

 

2 arrested for violations

Police arrested Stacy Jo Erdner on an apprehension and detention order and Levi James Sprague on an apprehension and detention order per Blue Earth County at 2:15 p.m. Monday at The Heritage Hotel.

 

1 arrested for felony theft

Albert Lea police arrested one person for felony theft at 1:24 p.m. Friday at Hy-Vee. The employee was arrested after reportedly stealing $3,500.

 

1 arrested for drug violation

Police arrested Christopher Lloyd Vanryswyk for fifth-degree possession at 11:30 p.m. Monday at 114 N. Eighth Ave.

 

2 arrested on warrants

Police were reported as having arrested Harold Albert Skroch, 52, on Winona County warrants at 2:34 p.m. Friday at 408 Fountain St.

Police arrested Anthony Michael Whelan, 34, on a local warrant for gross misdemeanor financial card fraud at 11:40 p.m. Friday at 514 E. Seventh St.

 

Items stolen 

A house was reported entered and items were reported taken at 6:33 p.m. Sunday at 901 E. 18th St. No forced entry was reported.

A trailer was reported stolen at 9:36 a.m. Saturday on the 400 block of East Fifth Street.

A wallet was reported stolen at 1:38 p.m. Friday at Harold’s Bar. A credit card was reported used at two Kwik Trips between 2 a.m. and 2:30 a.m and an unemployment debit card was reported used at Shell. The credit card loss was planned to be reimbursed by the credit card company. Two-hundred dollars was reportedly in the wallet.

A bike was reported stolen at 2:21 p.m. Saturday at Lakeview Elementary School. The bicycle, described as a Haro blue BMX, was reportedly stolen from the school Thursday night.

A theft of a ring was reported at 4:10 p.m. Monday at 801 S. Newton Ave.

 

Items damaged

A boat was reported damaged at 10:56 a.m. Saturday near Shoreland Beach.

Juveniles were reported as having broken out a back window at 9:16 p.m. Sunday at 601 W. Clark St.

Two vehicles were reported as having their driver’s side mirrors missing at 2:44 p.m. Monday at 1839 S.E. Broadway.

Damage was reported to a vehicle at 10:37 p.m. Monday at 806 James Ave.

 

Sex crime with a child victim reported

A sex crime with a child victim was reported at 10:01 a.m. Friday in Albert Lea.

 

1 cited for small amount of marijuana

Police cited Michael John Lee, 25, for small amount of marijuana at 7:08 p.m. Friday at 900 Hammer Road. Lee was cited after a suspicious person or vehicle was reported.

 

Theft by fraud reported

A fake $100 bill was reported at 9:54 p.m. Friday at Taco John’s. The suspect was described as a short female who left the scene.

 

Fight reported

A fight was reported at 8:24 p.m. Saturday at 222 S. St. Mary Ave.
