1 held for fleeing in a motor vehicle

James Edward Mills, 54, was booked for fleeing in a motor vehicle and driving after revocation after a careless driving complaint was made at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Freeborn County Road 18 and 165th Street.

 

1 arrested on warrant

Lance J. Walters was reported arrested on a Department of Corrections warrant at 9:49 a.m. Wednesday at Freeborn County Law Enforcement Center.

 

Items stolen

A box truck was reported stolen at 10:05 a.m. Friday at Albert Lea public warehouse, 2301 Myers Road.

A cellphone was reported stolen at 2:07 p.m. Friday at 2002 Chestnut St. The incident reportedly occurred Thursday afternoon.

A theft of two scooters was reported at 10:41 p.m. Friday at McDonald’s, 609 E. Main St.

Fentanyl patches were reported missing at 7:53 p.m. Saturday at 422 Euclid Ave. The patches were reported missing after the alleged victim allowed a homeless man to enter the apartment and use the bathroom.

Several items were reported missing from a vehicle at 6:24 a.m. Sunday at 1025 James Ave.

A van was reported as having taken mail out of mailboxes at 8:12 a.m. Sunday at 1224 Sykes St.

A theft of a dark blue Mountain style bicycle was reported at 11:24 a.m. Monday at 800 S. Fourth Ave. The 18-speed bicycle was valued at $125. No suspects were identified. The bicycle reportedly had straight handlebars, a digital speedometer bracket and wire and a waterbottle holder.

A theft of a  black 18-speed bicycle described as having a straight frame was reported at 5:09 p.m. Monday at 321 James Ave. The bicycle was valued at $100.

Medication was reported missing from a lock box at 1:30 p.m. Monday at 608 S. Washington Ave.

 

Burglary reported

A burglary was reported at 2:58 p.m. Friday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.

 

Suspicious person reported

A male was reported as trying to break into trailers at 5 a.m. Monday at 919 E. 14th St.

Two men were reported as trying to cash large checks believed to be fake at 5:32 a.m. Monday at Love’s Truck Stop,  2751 E. Main St.

 

Damage reported

Damage from a 4-wheeler was reported at 6:42 p.m. Monday at 16631 710th Ave., outside Albert Lea.

 

Sex crime child victim reported

A sex crime with a child victim was reported at 9:59 a.m. Wednesday in Freeborn County.

 

Water main break reported

A water main break was reported at 6:21 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of East Hawthorne Street and Valley Avenue. The break reportedly occurred in front of 709 E. Hawthorne St.
