Boy, 10, injured in possible hit-and-run

A 10-year-old boy reportedly sustained non life-threatening injuries from a reported hit-and-run crash Wednesday in Albert Lea.

The boy was reportedly hit while on a bicycle by a vehicle described as a smaller, white SUV with a woman described as an elderly white female wearing an apron.

The crash reportedly occurred at the intersection of Ramsey Street and the alley behind Eddie’s Bar. The incident was reported at 5:42 p.m. at the address of 811 Ramsey St.

Hospitalization was not reported, and the boy was reportedly brought home after the crash. Damage was reported to the boy’s bicycle.
