NEW RICHLAND — Farm & City Days is slated for this weekend in New Richland.

The activities will kickoff with the Little Miss and Mister Pageant at 5 p.m. Thursday at New Richland City Hall. The pageant is open to children 4 to 8 years old and has four categories: Little Miss Farmer, Little Mister Farmer, Little Miss City and Little Mister City. Little Miss and Mister City have to live within the city limits of New Richland and Little Miss and Mister Farmer have to have a rural New Richland address. New Richland will host its own version of Family Feud at 7 p.m. Friday at the Broadway street dance area. The cost of the event is a donation and those who plan to attend are encouraged to bring their own chairs. There will also be a special performance by New Richland’s Just for Kix dance team and a presentation of the Little Miss and Little Mister royalty. A movie in the park will take place later in the evening at 9:45 p.m. The movie “Little Giants” will be shown. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chair, snacks and bug spray.

Saturday will start early with the New Richland Fire Department pancake breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. at New Richland Fire Hall. A day full of activities will follow, including the Farm & City Days Parade at 5 p.m. The night will be capped off by the Farm & City Days street dance from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Music will be provided by Cherry Gun.

Activities will wind down on Sunday with a community worship service at 10:30 a.m. and the Gopher State garden tractor pull at 1 p.m. Both events will be at City Park.
