The American Legion Post 56 is putting on a family golfing event at Green Lea Golf Course Sunday, Aug. 14 and it’s open to the public.

The event is to raise funds to support Legion family activities.

Registration begins at noon with a 1 p.m. shotgun start (4-person best shot) followed by dinner afterward.

There will be a beverage cart available, as well as prizes and on-course games.

The price is $50 per person and includes golf and dinner. Dinner only is $10.
