Power outage reported in A.L.

A power outage Wednesday in Albert Lea affected approximately 1,000 customers in northwest Albert Lea.

The outage lasted approximately a half hour before power was restored at about 3 p.m.

A fallen tree branch reportedly caused the outage.

Power was restored after Freeborn-Mower Cooperative Service members were dispatched and worked to restore power.

 

1 arrested on multiple charges

Albert Lea police arrested Shannon Troy Lee, 46, for theft, receiving stolen property and criminal damage to property at 6:04 a.m. Tuesday at 500 Frank Ave. Lee was arrested after a male heard a car alarm and a window break.

 

Man turns himself in on local warrant

A male was reported as having turned himself in on a local warrant at 12:42 a.m. today at Freeborn County Law Enforcement Center.

 

1 arrested on warrant

Albert Lea police arrested Jamie John Kujak, 28, on a Winona County warrant at 6:42 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Margaretha Avenue and East 11th Street.
