Priscilla A. Jellinger, 92, of Brainerd passed away Monday, July 11, 2016, at Good Samaritan Society – Woodland Senior Living Apartments.

Perk was born Oct. 14, 1923, in Albert Lea to Lawrence and Emma (Berglund) Wayne. Perk graduated from Alden High School and Naeve Hospital School of Nursing, where she became a registered nurse. She married Andrew Jellinger in June 1947 in Alden. They resided in Albert Lea until 1977, when they moved to Bay Lake, near Deerwood. They resided there for 21 years and then moved to Brainerd. Perk enjoyed antique collecting and traveling.

Left to cherish her memory are children Steven (Debbie) of Deerwood, Laurie (Robert) Sweeney of Deerwood and Andrew of Minneapolis; grandchildren Joe Sweeney, Maggie Sweeney, Lucy Sweeney, Mike Jellinger, David Jellinger, Keith Jellinger and Bryan Jellinger; seven great-grandchildren.

Perk is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Andrew; sister, Janet Niebuhr; brothers James Wayne and Paul Wayne; grandson, Mark Jellinger.

Memorials are preferred to Good Samaritan Society – Woodland Senior Living Apartments or the National Stroke Association.
