Ruth Norton (Gilmore) Short, 72, died Sunday, July 24, 2016, at her home in Fergus Falls.

A funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. today at Calvary Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls.

A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Gilmore-Stensrude American Legion Hall in Freeborn. Burial will follow the memorial service at the Freeborn Cemetery in Freeborn.
