The Soil and Water Conservation District offices in Mower, Dodge, Steele, Freeborn and Fillmore counties will host three informational meetings for the public on the state buffer initiative on Thursday.

According to a press release, meetings will be from 9 to 11 a.m. at the community center in Fountain, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the servicemen’s club in Blooming Prairie and from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Fairlane Building in Albert Lea.
