 Vehicles stuck in water

Heavy rain on Thursday led to flooded streets in Albert Lea. Three vehicles were reported stuck at 11:39 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of West Main Street and South St. Mary Avenue.

A vehicle was reported stuck in water at 11:58 a.m. Thursday at 2114 E. Main St. The occupant of the vehicle was reportedly in a department store and had to wait until the water went down.

Cars were reported stuck in a roadway at 12:02 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of East Clark Street and East Main Street. There was reportedly a vehicle in the roadway that was blocking traffic.

 

2 arrested on warrants

Albert Lea police arrested Joe Roberts on an arrest warrant at 2:09 p.m. Thursday at 317 Court St.

David Michael Johnson, 32, turned himself in on a local warrant at 6:20 p.m. Thursday at 411 S. Broadway.

 

1 arrested on probable cause

Police arrested Jason Michael Sokolofsky, 32, on probable cause for Mower County at 1:34 a.m. today at 923 Jefferson Ave. Sokolofsky was transferred to the custody of the Mower County Sheriff’s Office.

 

1 arrested for drunken driving

Police arrested Zane Sullivan, 22, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated  at 2:04 a.m. today at the intersection of Bridge Avenue and East Hawthorne Street.
