1 arrested for burglary

Albert Lea police arrested Terrance Durum Edwards, 32, after a burglary in progress was reported at 2:20 a.m. Saturday at 335 W. Main St. An African-American male was reported as attempting to break into a house.

 

1 arrested for disorderly conduct

Police arrested Keooudone Xayachak, 33, after a report of disorderly conduct was made at 10:37 p.m. Saturday at 609 Larimore Circle.

 

1 arrested for domestic assault

Police arrested Brittany Page Olson, 30, for misdemeanor domestic assault at 12:56 p.m. Sunday at 1309 Todd Ave.

 

1 arrested on warrant

Albert Lea police arrested Jordan Nickolas Wolney, 24, for failing to appear for felony second-degree burglary at 1:16 a.m. Saturday at 510 Court St.

 

1 cited
for assault

Police cited Colby John Saunders, 18, for misdemeanor assault at 1:39 p.m. Saturday at 901 E. 18th St. Saunders was taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea after a dog bite.

 

Dirtbike stolen

A dirtbike was reported stolen from a front yard at 7:32 p.m. Sunday at 401 Main St. in Freeborn.

 

Theft by check reported

Several bad checks were reported passed at 1:35 p.m. Friday at 1623 W. Main St.

Property damaged

A few windows were reported broken out of a garage at 11:54 a.m. Saturday at 320 Burr Oak Drive. The damage was possibly inflicted from a BB gun. Damage was estimated at $30.

 

Tree fire reported

Power lines were down and a tree was on fire at 11:37 p.m. Saturday at 606 Water St. Freeborn-Mower Cooperative Services was able to remove the branch from the power line.

 

Items stolen

Children’s toys were reported stolen from a backyard at 2:57 a.m. Sunday at 507 W. College St.

Belongings were reported stolen from the inside of a vehicle over the last two weeks at 2:01 p.m. Sunday at 901 E. 18th St.

 

Break-in reported

Albert Lea police received a report at 8:10 a.m. Sunday that someone reportedly tried to break into an apartment twice at 915 Maplehill Drive. The incident allegedly occurred the night before.

 

1 transported after assault 

One male was transported by ambulance to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea after an assault was reported at 3:50 a.m. Sunday at 133 W. William St. No charges were reported.

 

Fight reported

A fight with a possible knife or gun was reported at 12:50 a.m. Sunday at 130 W. College St. No other details were available at press time.
