5 arrested for drunken driving

Albert Lea police arrested Morgan Josephine Krueger, 18, for driving while intoxicated at 2:30 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 65 and 19th Street. Krueger was charged with third-degree DWI (child endangerment), underage drinking and driving, underage drinking and registering a .08 or more within two hours. Police cited Bree Ann Tlamka, 19, for underage drinking. Krueger was arrested after a vehicle crashed into a pole. No injuries were reported.

Minnesota State Patrol reportedly arrested one person for first-degree driving while intoxicated at 9:30 p.m. Friday at 820 Happy Trails Lane.

Minnesota State Patrol reportedly arrested one person for first-degree driving while intoxicated at 1:48 a.m. Saturday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.

Police arrested Richard Joseph Cotter, 37, for third-degree driving while intoxicated, second-degree test refusal and driving after revocation at a traffic stop at 12:13 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of West Main Street and South Washington Avenue.

Police arrested Jackson Arthur Borth-Ferrie, 21, for driving while intoxicated at a traffic stop at 1:33 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of West Main Street and South St. Mary Avenue.

 

Terroristic threats reported

Terroristic threats were reported made by a patient toward staff at 3:30 p.m. Friday at 1705 S.E. Broadway.

 

1 arrested for drug possession

Police arrested Ryan Dean Johnson, 36, for fifth-degree drug possession and open container violations during a traffic stop at 11:15 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Margaretha Avenue and East 10th Street.

 

1 arrested for theft

Police reportedly arrested Diana Applegate, 57, for theft at 5:09 p.m. Saturday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.
