5 arrested on warrants

Police arrested Nicholas Danny Johnson, 29, on a local warrant during a traffic stop at 10:41 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of South Broadway and West Seventh Street. Johnson was cited for driving with an expired license.

Police arrested George Herbert Adams III, 25, on warrants at 3:17 p.m. Sunday. Adams was arrested after a vehicle reported stolen in Wisconsin was found in Albert Lea.

Police arrested Amy Jean Gifford, 32, on a Dakota County warrant at 9:11 p.m. Monday at 616 E. Main St.

Robert Benjamin Willaby, 28, reportedly turned himself in to police at 8:52 p.m. Monday at 411 S. Broadway.

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Ronald Allen Beckjorden, 59, on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections warrant at 10:36 a.m. Monday at 470 S.W. First St. in Glenville.

 

1 arrested for violation

Deputies arrested Codey James Camerer per a Department of Corrections agent at 2:28 p.m. Monday at 250 Main St. in Manchester.

 

3 cited for violations

Police cited Malcolm L. Tate, 24, for possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop at 2:05 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of East Main Street and Prospect Avenue.

Police cited Be Lay, 28, for an open container violation and Lay Law, 19, for underage drinking  during a traffic stop at 1:22 a.m. Sunday at 1210 E. Main St.

 

Thefts reported

Theft by fraud was reported at 1:26 p.m. Saturday at 411 S. Broadway.

A red, older-model Schwin mountain bike was reported stolen from a yard at 11:01 p.m. Saturday at 1029 S. Newton Ave. The bicycle was valued at around $100.

A theft was reported at 2:27 a.m. Sunday at 134 W. William St.

A theft of two Nintendo DS systems, a Pokemon game and two chargers were reported stolen at 6:34 p.m. Sunday at 514 E. Seventh St.

A theft in progress of a black and orange Fugi mountain bike was reported at 2:54 p.m. Monday at 1137 S. Broadway. A male described as being 5-feet-8-inches tall, weighing 150 pounds was described as having left in an older, gray-colored Sedan.

Several yard signs were reported stolen at 4:34 p.m. Monday in Albert Lea.

A theft of a car dolley was reported at 6:50 p.m. Monday at 85313 Minnesota State Highway 251.

 

Tires slashed

Two slashed tires were reported at 10:48 a.m. Saturday at 2327 Gene Ave.
