After an easy victory in its first match of the season, the Lake Mills volleyball team had a little more of a test in its second match.

Still, the Bulldogs didn’t allow 10 points in a set and took all three sets from Belmond Klemme (25-9; 25-9; 25-7) in an easy victory.

“We played very,” said Lake Mills coach Jim Boehmer. “(Belmond-Klemme) has some athletes, but I was pleased with how aggressive we played. I would have liked a quicker tempo out of the gate, but we picked it up during the course of the match.”

Lexi Groe led the Bulldogs with nine kills. Hailey Borgmeyer finished with six kills and seven digs, and Teah Kesler added five. Robyn Bowman had 23 assists and was also 10-10 on serves.

It will host Bishop Garrigan Thursday night.

Start time for the match is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
