Carolyn M. Verchota, 76, of St. Louis Park passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016, at University of Minnesota Medical Center.

She is survived by husband, Richard; sons Richard J. Jr. (Janella) and Steven Jon (Pamela); daughter, Michelle L. Verchota; grandchildren Jenna, Joseph, Jack, Bella, Erik and Chayna; brothers Edward, Bill and Jim Engelking; sisters Judy Smude and Sandy Lang; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by sister, Mary Lou; brother, Arnie; and nephew, Shawn M. Lang. Carolyn was a member of the Business and Professional Women’s Club of Minnesota. Carolyn and Richard lived in Albert Lea from 1962 to 1981.

Mass of Christian burial was at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of the Holy Family, 5900 W. Lake St. in St. Louis Park. Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Gearty Delmore Park Chapel, 3960 Wooddale Ave S in St. Louis Park, andwas one hour prior to the services at the church.
