The Colin Kaepernick caper is all the rage in the news now. His refusal to stand with his teammates for the national anthem is a disgrace. Here is a young man with limited ability, who has been given the chance to play a boy’s game and make millions of dollars doing it. Only here in America would he have that opportunity.  Why? Because he has freedom. It saddens me to think of how many brave men and women shed their precious blood so that people like him can be free to dishonor this great nation.

Maybe I am being a bit hard on Mr. Kaepernick. After all, he is just a product of our times and the leftist politically-correct ideology and cultural rot that he and his generation have been indoctrinated with — the always “blame America first” crowd.

Isn’t it ironic that when the Dallas Cowboys wanted to wear a sticker honoring the murdered police officers from Texas, the NFL said no. If our citizens don’t take a stand and  continue to give in to the PC police, then you can expect more of the same and worse. Wake up folks!
