Ken Roczen wrapped up his second Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship title in three seasons Saturday, sweeping the 450 Class motos in the Budds Creek National for his eighth victory of the year.
The German rider gave RCH Racing, co-owned by Ricky Carmichael and Carey Hart, its first 450 title.
“The Soaring Eagle/Jimmy John’s/Suzuki Factory Racing machine has been working great all year,” Roczen said. “There are so many people I have to thank — my team, my family, my girlfriend and my trainer. We finally made it. “I don’t really know what more to say right now. We have such a solid program that I’m just really happy with.”
