An Owatonna man was injured in a crash Sunday on Interstate 90, east of Wells.

William G. Bultman, 38, was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea with an injury deemed not life-threatening.

Bultman was driving a Honda motorcycle east when a deer crossed in front of the motorcycle, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. Bultman swerved to avoid the deer and laid the motorcycle on its side shortly before 11:30 p.m., according to the report.

Damage to the 2005 Honda motorcycle was listed as a total loss.
