The ninth annual Ryan “Pie” Truesdell softball tournament will take place at Snyder Field in Albert Lea Sept. 10-11.

Entry fee is $150 per team and the fee must be received by Sept. 8. Teams are guaranteed four games.

Payout is $400 for first place, $200 for second and $100 for third, based on 24 teams.

Truesdell died Aug. 14, 2007, in the Glenville Grain Elevator. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed many sports, one of which was softball. This tournament has been held every year since his death and raises money to help area youth sports.
