South Dakota man injured in I-35 crash

A South Dakota man was injured Tuesday morning in a rear-end collision on Interstate 35 near Geneva.

Kenny D. Fouts, 55, of Aberdeen, South Dakota, was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea with injuries deemed not life-threatening, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Fouts was reportedly driving a 2013 International semi northbound on I-35 at 8:24 a.m. when the semi was rear-ended by a 2005 Chevy pickup driven by Adam Schwenn, 34, of Clear Lake, Iowa.

Schwenn was not injured.

Both men were reportedly wearing their seat belts, according to the State Patrol.
