Thank you for support
American Legion Post No. 56 would like to extend a thank you to all the folks of Albert Lea who made our U.S. Military All-Star game a success.
There are a few organizations that I would like to thank. First off, I’d like to thank the Albert Lea Tribune for their generosity in not only publishing items for us, but the monetary assistance they gave us. Along with thanking Church Off-Set Printing for their generosity in printing our programs. I’d like to also thank all the activity directors at Oak Park, Good Samaritan Society, St. John’s and Thorne Crest Senior Living for letting Post No. 56 bring the U.S. All Stars to their facilities plus getting their World War II veterans to the event. The city staff for assisting us before and during the game. A special thanks to Teresa Kauffman, Howard Schewe and park employees for all their work, along with assistance from Bob Furland, Jenny Davis and Afton Wacholz for helping with the youth clinic. Other organizations and businesses that helped American Legion Post 56 were Albert Lea Convention and Visitors Bureau, Tiger City Sports and a big thank you to JenSales for their generosity.
Power 96 Radio for the many reports and commercials promoting the event. American Legion Post No. 56 would also like to thank KIMT-TV, KAAL-TV for their news coverage. The U.S. Military All-Star committee would like to say thank you to all legion members who volunteered their time to make this a successful event. Thank you!
