Five days after making history by beating Bloomington Kennedy for the first time in school history, the Albert Lea girls’ soccer team lost 4-0 to Northfield on the road Thursday night.

The two teams played a scoreless first half, but Northfield put in four goals in the game’s final 40 minutes.

Albert Lea is 1-1 on the season and will have its home-opener against Owatonna Tuesady.

Start time for the match is set for 7 p.m.
