Monday’s weather brought about a beautiful day to play tennis.
Albert Lea hosted Fairmont in a match, as the Tigers looked to get back on track.
Unfortunately, the Tigers came up just short, losing 4-3 to the Cardinals.
“Despite the loss, we played well and the girls are showing how much they have improved throughout the course of the season,” said Tigers coach Chris Withers.
Sam Skarstad picked up the only singles victory for the Tigers with a win in three sets.
In doubles, the teams of Alexa Drescher and Katie Boettcher and Sara Kabrud and Kaedyn Kirchner dominated to pick up victories.
Albert Lea will host Owatonna today.
Start time for the match is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
