After winning their first three games of the season, the Albert Lea Tigers boys’ soccer team suffered their first loss of the season against Northfield Thursday night at home.

The Tigers lost 2-1, and the loss drops them to third in the Big Nine Conference standings and tied with Austin with nine points.

It was the third game this week for the Tigers.

Albert Lea will be on the road against Owatonna, which is winless on the season, Tuesday.

Start time for the match is scheduled for 7 p.m.
