The Albert Lea boys’ soccer team has had a tough time scoring goals after scoring 13 goals in its first three matches to open the season.
Since that time, the Tigers have scored just three goals, including one in a 2-1 loss to Rochester John Marshall Tuesday night.
John Marshall was coming off a 5-0 loss to Rochester Lourdes Saturday afternoon, and now improved its record to 2-5 on the season.
Meanwhile, after starting the season 3-0, the Tigers have faltered in their last four matches. The defense has still been solid, allowing only 2.25 goals per match, but the Tigers have socred less than a goal per game.
Albert Lea will look to get back on track when it will return home to face Rochester Mayo Thursday night.
Start time for the match is scheduled for 7 p.m.
