Three different Community Sew Days are scheduled for the fall.

The project, which is part of the local Shinefest mission, will be from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday; 2 to 10 p.m. Oct. 21; and 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. According to a press release, those wishing to participate may come all day or for however long they are able. Sewing kits for most projects will be provided however participants are asked to bring their own sewing machine, scissors, pins and other supplies they may need. Projects include quilts, personal care bags, tissue covers, crib sheets, dresses, shorts and shirts for little boys.

Those attending are also encouraged to bring a snack or sack lunch. Water will be provided.
