ST. PAUL — Officials said seven students were treated for minor injuries after a school bus crash in St. Paul sent the bus into a house.
The bus collided with a pickup truck Friday afternoon. Paramedics took the seven students to a hospital as a precaution.
According to a press release, the bus was carrying 34 students from Highland Park middle and high schools when the crash happened about 2:45 p.m.
Police are investigating whether the pickup didn’t stop at a stop sign or pulled out in front of the bus.
The bus smashed into the front steps of the house. The driver of the pickup was not hurt and is cooperating with investigators. A police spokesman said preliminary information indicated that drugs or alcohol were not factors in the crash.
