Diane Huben, 1955-2016

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Joy Christian Center in St. Cloud for Diane R. Huben, 61, who passed away Friday, Sept. 9, 2016, at St. Cloud Hospital. The Rev. Brian Gobar will officiate and burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery in Emmons at 3:30 p.m. The Rev. Christopher Martin will officiate graveside. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids and one hour prior to the services Tuesday at the church.
Diane was born July 20, 1955, in Oakland, California, to Clifford and Rigmor (Lank) Paulsen. She married Frank Huben on Sept. 21, 1985, at Munsinger Gardens in St. Cloud. They were later divorced. Diane lived in the St. Cloud area since 1978 and worked as a Realtor for Prudential Pladson — and most recently for Premier Real Estate. She was a member of Joy Christian Center. Diane enjoyed country music, horses, nature, spending time at the cabin, entertaining and decorating. She was a free spirit, outgoing, artistic and crafty.
Survivors include her longtime companion, Don Girtz of Sauk Rapids; daughter, Lacey Huben of Sauk Rapids; brother and sisters Mark (Melanie) Paulsen of Indianola, Iowa, Linda (Robert) Flewellen of San Diego and Tricia (John) Stensgard of Maple Grove; and her dog, Chance.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Tim Paulsen; and sister, Sharon Paulsen.
