Lake Mills man pleads not guilty to sexual abuse of teen

A Lake Mills man charged with sexually abusing a teenager in Lake Mills pleaded not guilty Monday in Winnebago County District Court.

Trevor Lee Maser, 20, was charged Aug. 16 with two counts of third-degree sexual abuse.

Maier allegedly performed a sex act against the will of a teenage girl in February 2015 and May 2016.

The alleged victim was 17 at the time of the first alleged incident, and 18 at the time of the second alleged incident.

A jury trial is scheduled for Oct. 26, if the case has not been settled by then.

Third-degree sexual abuse carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
