Albert Lea varsity senior loves being on the tennis courts
Q: What grade are you in?
A: 12th grade.
Q: What town do you live in, and which school do you attend?
A: I live in Albert Lea. I go to Albert Lea High School.
Q: Who is your immediate family?
A: Father, Craig; mother, Beth; sister, Kailee; and brothers Derek and Tyler.
Q: Which sports do you play?
A: Tennis.
Q: What is your favorite part of playing tennis?
A: I love the game in general.
Q: What has playing tennis taught you?
A: How to be honest.
Q: What’s your favorite sports memory?
A: Watching Sara Kabrud get pelted with balls almost every day.
Q: Which game are you looking forward to most this year?
A: Big Nine tournament. Lots of tennis that day.
Q: How did you get started in tennis?
A: I wanted to try something new.
Q: What sports did your family members play?
A: My sister played basketball.
Q: What are your sports-related achievements?
A: Varsity player for four years.
Q: What are your sports-related goals?
A: Improve every day and be a positive leader.
Q: Who is your favorite professional athlete? Why?
A: Not professional (yet), but Sam Skarstad. She has a lot of potential.
Q: What are your college plans? Major?
A: South Dakota State University. Major in entrepreneurial studies.
Q: What is your favorite school subject?
A: English.
Q: Who is your favorite teacher?
A: Mr. Corey-Gruenes and Ms. Serfling.
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: Spending time with my cat, Nala. And nail art.
Q: What is your dream job?
A: Tennis instructor.

A: “Pretty Little Liars.”

A: I have a kidney disease.
